Abstract—This paper presents a new approach that study the effect of islamic prayer “as-salat” on the management of obsessive compulsive disorder (ocd). Our approach uses algorithmic representation of OCD and islamic prayer, and a fault-tolerance based technique to confront the cognitive behavioral disorder and the therapeutical one (i.e. “as-salat”).

I. Introduction
The obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is one of the most common cognitive and behavioral disorder over the world. It has been considered as the result of esoteric influences, and spiritual disorder. Since the apparition of cognitive and behavioral therapies, many success have been registred in the treatment of such disorders, but there are still so much improvements to be done since OCD patients reach 3 % of the global world population.
Severeal studies have been done to consider the use of holistic or body-mind-spirit approach to treat OCD, such as Yoga (Randomized controlled trial of yogic meditation techniques for patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder, Shannahoff-Khalsa DS, Ray LE, Levine S, Gallen CC, Schwartz BJ, Sidorowich JJ, The Research Group for Mind-Body Dynamics, the Institute for Nonlinear Science, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA. The common knowledge in muslim tradition is that the islamic rituals, habits Role of Islam in the management of Psychiatric disorders16 mai 2013 Journal Article. Author, WalaaM Sabry. ). The documentation lack of methodical and rigourous studies to fund these thesis. Our paper is written to fulfill the same goal, while trying to give some analytical fundments, and « information technology » borrowed techniques and methods used to back up our analyse. In the following chapter, we will detail the background and theoritical bases that are necessary to understantd the problematic of this work. In chapter 3, our approach details a an algorithmic pattern (logical representation) (A) followed (respected) by OCD. Then, we present an algorithmic pattern (B) reprensenting the daily islamic prayer activity « as-salat ». In chapter 4, we detail our contribution, a fault-tolerant based approach to confront the OCD model inside/through the islamic prayer model. Finally, we give conclusions and give further possibilities and application of our work.
